This is Andrea. She is mexican and she has been helping me out to build my portfolio working with me as a model. The idea is to bring nature to the everyday clothing, I´ve seen a lot of fashion campaigns doing this, as people are trying to get more in touch with natural things, such as parks, flowers, and aven the colors represents this, and the prints of course; since is summer, floral prints are everywhere, here she is wearing a pair of earrings, with nature elements, and the print of the leggings with a floral print of course, and the must-have ancle boots.*

Intriguing

I just found this picture from Yanick Dery, I got to say that for me, it is really intriguing yet amazing, it contains a lot of elements, but what makes a great picture, is that even you have different details to look at, the model is still the principal object, and that is what fashion photography is about.*

neutral

This season (apart from the flower trend that is usual in summer) neutral colors are THE trend, along with nautical, and fluorescent colors. So, i like this pictures because they match with the background, and even I´m not wearing high heels, which i regret a lot now, it looks cool, and of course my favorite sunglasses, something simple but stylish.*

I just love this sunglasses! and I love daniel of course ;), we were getting ready to go out, so the quality is not that good as it was taken with the webcam, but I like it a lot; the sunglasses to be specific, these are from topshop, and with a headband and curly hair, it just looks fierce.*

FASHION GOES NAUTICAL

Who is he? I´ll tell you who he is, he is a guy, expressing himself through the clothes he wears. Daniel has always been a fashionista, and now his style seems to be more mature, to name it in some way. He is wearing the nautical look, and complementing the outfit there is the Marc Jacobs bag. The shoes is what makes the outfit more interesting as you expect some kind of trainers, but instead he is using those brown shoes that I like a lot, not everyone can pull out an outfit like this, wearing those shoes, and also a mini short, and I say mini coz is the length is shorter compared with "normal" men shorts, but whatever, I just love the outfit!, and of course I took this photos, the location is regents park, London.*

HYDE PARK, PINK LIPS

It´s sunday. The weather is nice, is warm and sunny (yes! it is!) so, me and my friends decided to go and relax at hyde park. I had so much fun this weekend, and now, this week its time to focus on my portfolio, I´m excited and nervous at the same time, but I really really want to start with that now, so I´m guessing I´ll be going to hyde park quite often, wearing my sunglasses, and some nautical tops :); I have always liked stripes, and now that is trendy, you can find lots of stuff with them, cool!, and also my new obsession.. red and pink lips! i finally got over my trauma about lipstick and went from not wearing lipstick at all to wear red and intense pink, just love it!  oh and by the way, the girl in the picture is alejandra, she is mexican and she´ll be one of my models later. Make up, camera, clothes, photography, love them.*

JUST LIFE. JUST GAGA

how many times have you been complaining about life? i found myself doing it a lot, but honestly, I shouldn´t, today I´m going to see lady gaga´s performance at the o2, SO.. there is nothing better to do today! being such a big fan as i am, I must not miss it, and I won´t, I totally love and admire her, she is so fab! for the fashion, a lot of people says that she is just plain weird, but to be honest, she is unique, and the clothes and outfits she wears always got something special, so my expectatives for today´s concert are huge! and I´m pretty sure she won´t let me down :); I don´t know what to wear tho, as it is so special and exciting for me, it got to be something comfy, to enjoy the concert, but fashionable as she is at the same time, I need to go shopping! don´t I? anyway, gotta go now to get ready for GAGA, GAGA!! :D

Today, I went to take some pictures, I totally loved it, also I need to get as much practice as I can whit my camera so we (one of my best friends and I) went to the park to do it. Nature, landscapes, and that kind of things have always being nice to shoot in, something natural and simple is quite good once in a while.*

Lookbook.nu; hypes, forums and contest

I have been such a bad blogger lately, because I haven´t write a word in ages, but I am about to change that, talking about lookbook.nu.
This site, where I recently have spend a lot of my time reading the forums and giving hypes, is one of my favourites among the large number of fashion websites, all because of the freshness of the looks. You can find a lot of people from all over the world to get inspiration, as its the largest source you can find on the internet. As someone said, "every week is fashion week" and this site gives you the oportunity to explore a huge range of outfits and also has very interesting photographies. The contests they have had, such as the american appareal one, and H&M, are a great oportunity too for newbies to show themselves what they got.
The forums, a not well.known part of the site, are really entertaining, with topics from fashion to bizarre stories, as the last i was really into, you can meet people, know their thoughts and express your opinion too, and even is an invite only comunity, there are a lot of nice girls and guys to interact to.
And here I want to add something that I ´ve read, and that I agree with, because there are people beging for hypes, for comments and stuff and it gets the site the facebook-feeling, not that fb is bad or something, is just different, also people wanting to get an invitation code, you can apply, and if you are good enough you are gonna get in, if not, well... continue beging for one, I just hope that the members are smart enough to not send an invitation code to everyone, so we can keep lookbook as it is, a great fashion site!! *

An empty space. Baby/a/lone

First picture, empty space, just you in the middle of it. Sad? Not necessarily. A chair, you fashionably good-looking, sitting there, just thinking. But fashion is not just about clothes, is about beauty, and creativity. Babylone in a mirror; what does a mirror tell you? is it on the floor or on the wall? BABY-*A*LONE. This was in the same room, as you, is that a subliminal message? but, whether it is or not, you manage it to look stunning, just black trousers and a t-shirt and you are done.*

Yesterday morning, sadly I woke up to recive such a bad news. Alexander McQueen had kill himself. Reading all the tweets about it, I went through the web to check if it was true. He was one of the most important influences in the fashion world, and now, we all are going to miss his creativity, and all the style he used o bring each season to the catwalk.  A british graduated from the prestigious Central St. Martins in London, son of a taxi driver, he made it to be world-known, working with LVMH, Givenchy, Gucci, to mention some; named succesor of John Galliano, and creating his own brand, Alexander McQueen is leaving an empty gap in world. Lots of celebrities love to wear his collections, such as Lady Gaga, who made world-famous his high heels used in her videos. R.I.P. Alexander McQueen.*

Alexa Chung

Not everyone can look so chic with just jeans and a white shirt as Alexa Chung, known as the fashion´s favourite tomboy. She is on the cover for Vogue UK march issue. Love her.*

from sweeden, with love

If there is a country of beautiful girls, that´s sweeden. This girl; fanny, just look like a model doing a magazine photoshoot. Being pretty is not her only quality,there is also a great sense of style, and a sweet personality; so all I can say is: I´m glad could met you!*

LA girl

Beetween London and LA, she is always looking for fun; studying theater, this young lady called moriah, is one of the prettiest girls I´ve ever met, so that, whatever she wears looks good on her. Looking forward to see you soon in Mexico, and in London again!*

Here we got a hand-tailored shirt, worn by a guy who is very special for me and plays and important role in my life, now more than ever! With a model face, nice shoes and a camera a simple outfit can turn up to this.*

Banana Republic

I worked here for around 9 months, and I can say that even the shifts were long sometimes, or than i had to work on sundays, I really enjoyed it, I met a lot of people and some of them are still my friends. The store aims to project an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, so we need to be always dressy, and developing a good cutomer service. I had the role of sales assistant, cashier, personal stylist (which is what I liked the most). Being there I learn a lot of things, and the team was very friendly as well, managers, co-workers, security people, all of them, wish I can pop in sometime soon and say hi!, and for some shopping too, they have clothing I like.*
